have questions?
No problem. I’ve got
answers
How long will my project take to complete?
The completion time will depend on the scope of your project. We’ll discuss your needs during our initial call and I’ll include a schedule in my proposal.
How much do you charge?
The cost of your project is based on a variety of factors which we’ll discuss in the initial interview. Once we have developed a scope of work for your project, I’ll submit a proposal for the cost of my services. If you are looking to hire me based on cost only, we’re probably not a good fit.
How do I work with you?
What if I want to make changes once you start on my project?
I want you to be delighted with your project and look forward to building a long term relationship. If there are changes you would like to make that are within the original scope of the project, I’ve got you covered.
How much experience do you have in the building industry?
This could take awhile. So I’ll spare you the details and give you the summary version.
After earning my architectural degree in 1974, I shifted my focus to the construction industry. I spent the next 18 years working in the concrete construction and general contracting business.
In 1992, I was hired by Sony Pictures Entertainment to manage their massive studio renovation projects.
In 2000, I began working for a construction management company.
In 2004, I started my own construction management company.
In 2016, I became a Certified Construction Manager, recognizing my education and years of experience.
I retired in 2018 to devote my time to teaching and content marketing.
What separates you from your competition?
Let me answer this with a question…
Who do you know that has nearly a half century working in the building industry, who is also trained in content marketing?
Who do you write for?
I write for small to medium sized companies in the building industry niche.
This includes architects, professional service companies, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
I also work with web designers who want compelling copy to enhance their beautiful design.
My business isn’t located in Southern California. Can you still help me?
Yes.
The secret to my persuasive writing is based on meeting your customer’s needs. We’ll work together to meet their goals, desires, and address their pain points, and frustrations. Get this right and it doesn’t matter where you are.
